Who are WhatsApp lessons for?
These lessons are great for people who are very busy but would like to use Czech or English on daily basis.
WhatsApp lessons are specifically for those who would like to get more confident in speaking. You won't get any writing, reading or listening tasks (apart from listening to the voice recordings :-) ...). We believe that short daily language dose is more effective than 1 hour conversation lesson once a week.
You can also combine them with individual lessons or language coaching to practice all the skills.
The lessons are not suitable for complete beginners, we recommend you are at least A2 level.
You only need your (smart!) mobile phone and internet connection.
What does a WhatsApp lesson look like?
Every morning from Monday to Friday you receive a voice message on WhatsApp with a question or a small task. You can answer any time throughout the day. The following day I give you feedback with a mini homework and send another question/task for that day.
I give you feedback on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
How long does a WhatsApp lesson take?
The main task takes you about 5 minutes to complete. The mini homework, which helps you to practice what you need to improve in, takes you another 5 minutes.
My feedback, which is a listening exercise :-), will be no longer than 5 minutes.
All in all the WhatsApp lesson takes about 15 minutes of your time each day from Monday to Friday.
Note: Your recordings shouldn't be longer than 10 minutes.
And finally, how much does it cost?
A week of WhatsApp lessons (5 x 15-minute lesson a day Monday to Friday) will cost you EUR 24 / CZK 600 / Ft 9,400.
You can try just one week while you are on a summer holiday or you can continue for two, three, four weeks or longer - it is entirely up to you!
